Our team comprises three Directors, one senior consultant and support staff.
Our core staff all have over 25 years insurance experience and have held senior roles
at Lloyd’s syndicates, insurers and brokers.

Argent - Paul ArgentPaul Argent – worked for both insurers and a major Lloyd’s syndicate in senior roles prior to establishing Argent Business Solutions.

Paul has extensive experience in Claims and Delegated Authority arrangements plus has also been an underwriter writing North American Property. Experience includes most major business classes written at Lloyd’s. 


Argent - Giles AndersonGiles Anderson -  has over 30 years experience in a variety of underwriting and claims roles across multiple business classes including insurance and reinsurance products. Much of this has involved delegated authority arrangements as a method of distribution. Giles founded GPA in 2000 which has gone on to become one of the most highly regarded delegated authority audit and support service specialists in the UK.


Argent - Ian ParkerIan Parker – worked in a range of underwriting roles for 22 years prior to becoming a founding member of GPA Consulting. Ian has extensive experience of the London insurance market working for both Lloyd’s underwriters and insurance companies underwriting a wide range of Property, Liability and ancillary classes. Since 2003 Ian has been a director of GPA undertaking a range of audit and consultancy services to the London insurance market.


Suzy DoreyReport Production Coordinator
Having worked for a major consulting organisation for almost 20 years Suzy brings a wealth of experience in putting together clients reports and supporting consulting projects. She is responsible for quality control on many client products seeing that they are completed within the required deadlines.

 

Peter BurtonSenior Claims Consultant
Over 25 years experience working for both brokers and insurers. Peter has experience in both technical claims roles across multiple business lines, running an external audit programme for a large outsource provider and a claims focused audit function. He has comprehensive experience in many areas across the business and supports a number of underwriting based initiatives.


Anthony LeesSenior Claims Consultant
A career in general insurance spanning 30 years. Held management roles within insurer and brokers involving all principal classes of business and varied channels of distribution. From 1999, and prior to joining us Anthony was a coverholder and director responsible for underwriting, within a specialist schemes broker. This included the operation of, and sales responsibility for, its delegated underwriting authorities with various insurance companies and London markets.


Lynda BrittonAudit Coordinator
Over 20 years experience in similar roles Lyn is responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day to da basis coordinating and arranging the numerous client assignments, trips and site visits.


Zoe Carpenter Office Administrator
Recently joined to support the administrative requirements within the various client assignments we take on. She provides general support to the office based team helping them to manage the tight deadlines across the business.


Dale Powell
Working for the Financial Compensation Service Dale has extensive experience in dealing with insurance related complaints across various business lines. This includes underwriting and claims issues and involves managing both customer and insurer issues in complex situations.

We also have a strong network of close associates that we can draw upon to upscale should the assignment require.
Pre assignment clients have the opportunity to meet with such individuals and approve their appointment.
